  • Context: Zenith, a decentralized employment cooperative, empowers freelancers with payroll, tax, and benefits services — but its dashboard was fragmented and confusing.

  • Challenge: Users faced dead ends, unclear navigation, and high abandonment during payroll and benefits enrollment. Support tickets were rising, eroding trust.

  • Research: Conducted user interviews, journey mapping, and analytics review; identified critical pain points in payroll submission, benefits setup, and tax docs.

  • Design Process:
    • Rebuilt information architecture into clear, scalable navigation pillars.
    • Designed user flows for payroll (fiat + crypto), benefits, and tax docs with progressive disclosure.
    • Created low-fidelity wireframes for rapid feedback; iterated with stakeholders and devs.

    • Applied Zenith’s brand system for a clean, professional identity.
    • Used action cards, clear labels, motivating status badges, and consistent spacing.
